Judges Summary

Nice show with a happy atmosphere. Different types of Keeshond were on display today with several being too heavy and unbalanced. I would like to thank the exhibitors for being so sporting, it made my task so much easier.

Minor Puppy Dog (3, 1 Absent)

  1. Wilkin’s Pommary Quick Silver, compact square outline, nice bone, spectacles defined around eyes & has such an excellent temperament. Moved soundly. Best Puppy in Show.
  2. Wilkes’ Pommary Magic Tricks for Dakaraikees, just a bit heavier in bone & longer in back, again super temperament & sound moving.

Post Graduate Dog (4, 2 Absent)

  1. Brewer’s Helkeesen Adam, well presented coat, good bone and well-knuckled feet. Good body condition. Wedge shaped head with dark eye. Moved well, good compact shape.
  2. Hill’s Plymkees First Edition, just a bit more of him. High set tail with double curl. Small ears, just a bit wider in skull to 1.

Limit Dog (4, 2 Absent)

  1. Dean's Allforus Frosting over Lekkerbek, big difference in size between these two. Compact square shape, small ivy leafed ears, plenty of coat and good plume. Nice bone for size with good feet. Lovely temperament.
  2. Rose's Rossvale Sacred Spirit for Esorkees, a bit larger overall with good ruff, dark eye with spectacle line around eyes. In nice condition. Has slack pasterns and is standing 10-2.

Open Dog (3)

  1. Pattison’s Ch. Eastkees One More Chance, moved well and easy. Compact & square, equal muzzle to skull with good teeth & small ears. Nice bone for size, good plume & shows well & easy.
  2. Hill’s Plymkees Star Class, a more masculine sort with nice body & bone, Stop just a bit more than 1. Excellent coat & body condition.
  3. Blomfield’s Valindale Whatever.

Veteran Dog (6, 3 Absent)

  1. Waller’s Ch. Brykin Bourree, masculine sort with a nice outline and having crested neck, nice coat well presented, nice bone, feet & type. Almond shaped eye with spectacles. Moved well with ease. Best Dog & Best in Show.
  2. Rose's Valindale Rum Punch for Esorkees, showing well for age & in lovely body condition with strong teeth. Liked his bone & body.
  3. Austin's Chotahkees What A Dream.

  1. Newman’s Leazehond Edmundson, big enough with lovely coat & bloom, moved with ease & purpose. Balanced overall, almond shaped eye dark in appearance Good bone, body, nice plume.
  2. Pattison's Eastkees Licence To Love, compact and balanced. very nice foxy shaped head with small ivy shaped ears. Out of coat but in excellent body.

  2. Parsley’s Torrikees Miss Dior, nice head expression, ears and topline, square outline. Preferred movement of 1 only.

  2. Truelove’s' Neradmik Baiodora Lady D’ Winter, showed very well & very sound moving. Nice outline & coat well presented. Just felt bit masculine in the head for a bitch.
