Bosun (Venway Veernoot) is now
nearly eleven and loves riding in the
car and doing tricks for biscuits. He
goes mad if you mention 'Pig's ears'
or 'going for a walk'. We gave him a
home when, and luckily for us, at
18 months it became obvious he
wouldn't make a good show dog.
He barks whenever he hears a
strange sound outside and he just
loves relaxing on cold floor when he
is not playing with our Staffordshire
Bull Terrier. However, at night she
uses him as a pillow, but he doesn’t
mind. In fact I don't think he even
feels her. He is a great dog and
having grown up with him since
I was 4 I always feel that he is
looking after me, especially when I
don't feel too good. He gets on with
everyone (man and dog) although if
anyone is shouting or if a stranger
comes near me he will stand in front
me and carefully watch them. They
find this scary because they think
he is a Wolf, which just happens to
be my other pet name for him!
